The left side (up): The Catalonian communist volunteers, led by Eduardo Rózsa-Flores (a Jewish/Catalonian communist), who is called ,,Che” and ,,Chico”, during the war in ex-YU. This communist separatist later converted to Islam and became a vice-president of Hungarian Islamic Community. Another famous Croatian „volunteer“ is Gaston Besson, a foreign mercenary who said that he isn’t a fascist, but an anarchist, and he likened Croatia’s foreign volunteers to the International Brigades in the Spanish Civil War. Not by accident, his unit of volunteers was called – International Brigade.
